-clears throat and nods.; I wanted to ask about the Leviathans. If there’s anything you could possibly do about them.
-laughs- And why should I bother with your petty little problems? They’re of no concern to me.
-narrows gaze and keeps tone leveled.; Because they aren’t only my problems. Who’s to say they won’t come after you, or your brothers and sisters, after their done with us?
Leviathans can’t get into Heaven, you foolish thing. I know more about the Leviathan than anyone for my Father told me of them. And they were directly cast out by His hand. They are far from a threat to us.

Don’t be afraid of Lucifer. He’s a softie — really.Ahh…? Are you.. You’re Michael, aren’t you?
You’re not very quick on the draw, are you, Jesse?
I.. You could say something like that.. At the moment, sir. -presses lips together.;
Do try to contain yourself it’s embarrassing for all of us. Is there something you need?

My first memory of Gabriel was nothing unusual from any other first encounter - Lucifer excluded. There was the ‘hello’, and the explanations, and like all the rest - he clung to Lucifer, desperate to be near and feeling that burning Grace. It then was followed up by a trip to Earth, Gabriel was immediately infatuated with the animals, and he longed to please Lucifer, so was constantly presenting him with different animals as gifts.
There were ducklings, and polar bear cubs, and foxes. Most of the time this did not end well but no one could doubt Gabriel’s pure, and innocent intentions.
I taught Lucifer the structure of things. How to fly, how to sing, how to make things, and mend things, and break things if necessary. While some were more specific then others, my younger brother was quite capable of taking this knowledge and extending upon it for his own uses, thus the ‘tricks’ were born, but not by my hand.
They had been fighting.
Again.
One thousand years in that gelid Cage had done little to stave off Lucifer’s bad attitude or Michael’s pomposity. And while they found comfort in each other’s arms, nothing would ever change the fact that they were still two brothers trapped in close quarters for the rest of eternity.
There was not one creature in existence that could exhaust Michael’s immortal patience like Lucifer could; built into his makeup as the first little brother.
Most of their fighting stemmed from Lucifer’s inability to just stop talking— or his never-ending need to question anything and everything that Michael told him. The rest could easily be blamed on Michael’s need to exert his authority over the one being he shared his prison with.
Lucifer was less than receptive.
“You brought this down on our heads, Michael,” he panted, wiping saccharine ichor from his mouth as he tumbled back, smirking even under the stress of the blows that glanced off his skin. He was pinioned between Michael’s elbow and the frozen wall, wings jittering in protest.
” ‘Let’s just walk off the chessboard’— but no, First-born had to follow his orders like always~”
It was a mocking, sing-song taunt he flung; tonguing his lip carefully. He could feel Michael’s Grace hot and caustic against him, so angry, so vicious— exactly like he wanted, though his body ached from the bruises and breaks and he knew his brother felt much the same. This was all they had; nothing but each other in every capacity.
“And look at what you got for all your loyalty, Prince. A frozen throne with your rebel brother. I’d clap if my hands weren’t otherwise preoccupied.”
The Cage was doing things to Michael, this much was certain. The icy cold ran along his wings, and through his veins unpleasantly. Needless to say - though he’s sure Lucifer would say it anyway - Michael didn’t need anyone else bothering, and pestering him. The eldest archangel had been more or less content with staying on his knees in his own quite, cold little corner and praying desperately for his Father’s forgiveness while he waited for his rescuer, whom he was quite sure would come.
Out of his vast field of knowledge, something that one could never question was his unwavering devotion and faith. Even in the frozen-over prison that was Lucifer’s Cage, he managed to keep this intact while the rest of him and his will seemed to fall apart.
Michael’s not weak, this is something also widely known, and never questioned. Him being famous for leading God’s army of angels in the end days against the devil was all the glory of Revelations. He’s proud of this honor as much as he is humbled, because he doesn’t do this for him, he does it for his Father or at least this is what he tells himself but in the darkest and most secret parts of his being he might, just maybe be able to admit the cold feelings still held against Lucifer - the one who held responsibility for the disappearance of their God.
“I said shut your mouth, Lucifer.” Michael hissed through gritted teeth, only pressing his younger brother tighter against the cold wall of the Cage, “How dare you speak to me in such a manner.” It wasn’t so much the words that bothered him as much as Lucifer’s tone, his utter disrespect for someone of obviously higher authority. The nerve.
“I’m sure you would just adore for me to sink down with you to your level and crawl on my stomach like the serpents; but no, brother. I refuse because I am better than that.” the elder brother eyes narrowed dangerously - burning white and hot with his Grace.
A smirk seemed to claim his features, not at all a pleasant thing, “And you know it, don’t you? I can see how much you cower under me. You still know your place has always been a notch below me. Perhaps Father liked you best, well, congratulations, look where that landed you, Lucifer. Eternal damnation, you will never feel His love again. Never. You have fallen, I have not. I will leave this place. And you, will remain here. So think on that.” with little effort he threw the morning-star away from him, sending him smashing into another frozen wall.
